I gave a call to the pro-rector of the Sports University asking him to allow us distribute the moldavian version of the gospel magazine “Overtime”… And here we are already hanging up our banner with Athletes in Action inscription in the main hall of the University. And an employee of this institution is helping us to arrange chairs and tables for convenience during the distribution... Secretary accompanies me opening the doors of the auditoriums and introducing me. Herewith, naturally that we interrupt the lesson and all eyes are fixed on the three question form that I ask them to fill in. And here comes the break: our “corner” looks like a buzzing beehive: students and even some teachers exchange their filled forms for the colorful magazine. Some of the spiritual pupils joined to the dynamic process: they passionately explain their colleagues what else should be mentioned in the form. I am meeting the dean of the pedagogical faculty and immediately introduce him to two ministry partners who came right now from Texas to visit me. A bit later the dean himself offers them a tour through the University and invites them to take part in his lesson the next day. And, Alleluia! – one of my friends shared the Word and the story of how God acted in his life in front of about 20 carefully listening fellows. The dean presented my team members T-shirts and told us that we are always welcomed to the University. Lord, thank you for you dispose hearts! Bless us to enter the doors that you open!

In present we have a “good problem” in our ministry: a lot of contacts of sportsmen whom we should manage to meet and tell them the Gospel. Please, pray that God give us wisdom to do it in the best possible way!

In order to offer everyone the possibility to hear we borrowed the strategy from our student ministry branch: in 8 SMS messages we set forth the way of salvation. And again, being moved by the vision of “Creating of spiritual movements everywhere” we involve our disciples in the process, so that they may grow in ability to share their faith. Thus, Eugenia whom I met during last semester just after distribution of the magazine took the biggest number of contacts for sending SMS: she “tasted that the Lord is gracious” (1Peter 2:3) and wants to tell others about this. I thank God for this faithful disciple. May Father help also other girls to grow in love and good works. Please, pray for my personal appointments with teachers and the subsequent work with the influential people.

You are – the best support team! Thank you for staying in the gap together with me. Thank you for your sacrificial ministry in the Name of God!...
